Perform timely and accurate coding of medical records, including ICD 10, CPT, HCPCS, PCS, and DRG assignments
Maintain expert knowledge of coding guidelines and ethical standards, achieving a quarterly quality score of 95% or greater
Code facility-based services, including inpatient and outpatient coding edits related to facility-based coding
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Completion of a Coding Course
Preferred 1-2 years of related experience
Required core credentials such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CRC, CPC-A, CIC-A, or COC-A
