Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure accuracy of medical record coding and abstracting
• Provide coding information and advice to a team of coders and conduct training
• Code diagnoses and procedures according to ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of outpatient coding experience, with at least 1 year in the relevant specialty
• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification required
