Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Associate III, E/M.

Key Responsibilities

• Review productivity and quality reports to ensure accurate and compliant coding practices
• Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures according to classification systems
• Verify E/M codes for accuracy and provide feedback to improve coding practices

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• AAPC or AHIMA Certified coding professional (CPC, CCS, RHIA)
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation
• In-depth knowledge of coding guidelines including ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, and E/M coding
• Ability to navigate Epic and use Excel for reporting and data analysis
