A company is looking for a Coder II- Certified.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical records and charge tickets for accuracy and compliance with coding standards
• Assign and sequence ICD-10-CM and CPT codes based on medical information
• Review Medicare reimbursement claims for completeness and prepare reports on denied claims

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One of the following professional coding certifications: CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, RHIA, or RHIT
• 1-2 years of experience in medical record coding or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
