Job Summary

A company is looking for a VRI American Sign Language Interpreter Nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, real-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation through secure VRI platforms
• Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation between ASL and spoken English
• Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and impartiality in accordance with RID Code of Professional Conduct and HIPAA/ADA regulations

Qualifications

• Certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), including NIC, CI, or CT
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ASL interpreter, with at least 1 year providing VRI services
• Fluent in both English and ASL with excellent linguistic, cognitive, and cultural mediation skills
• High-speed internet, reliable computer, webcam, and headset suitable for secure video interpreting
• Ability to maintain a professional and quiet remote work environment
