Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review Nurse to conduct concurrent reviews of inpatient activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm care plans with healthcare providers and identify care issues
  • Make recommendations regarding transfers, level of care determinations, and discharge planning
  • Document all activities and track data for routine reports
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of California
  • Experience in case management, utilization management, or discharge planning preferred
  • Experience working in a managed care environment is preferred
