Job Summary

A company is looking for an eFill Pharmacy Tech.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze information from medical records to process medication refill requests
• Review renewal requests and ensure appropriate documentation is present in patient charts
• Notify prescribing providers of any protocol criteria not met and update patients on refill request statuses

Required Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in a nonacute care licensed pharmacy
• AA Degree required; related work experience may substitute for education
• Clear and current CA Pharmacy Tech certification
• Ability to perform pharmacy calculations and operate necessary office equipment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and e-prescribing capabilities
