Job Summary

A company is looking for a Labor and Employment Attorney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a caseload of employment-related matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and compliance
  • Advise clients on federal and state employment laws, company policies, risk mitigation, and HR best practices
  • Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, severance packages, and workplace policies
  • Represent clients in litigation, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
  • 3-7 years of employment law experience, including litigation and/or advisory work
  • Strong knowledge of California and federal labor and employment laws
