Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Defense Attorney.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil defense matters, including general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and/or insurance defense
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Conduct depositions, legal research, and case evaluations
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
• 2-6 years of litigation or insurance defense experience preferred
