Job Summary

A company is looking for an E/M Multi-Specialty Coder - Coder II (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and timely coding (CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPCS, modifiers)
• Maintains familiarity with coding regulations and guidelines for multi-specialty surgical practices
• Identifies trends in coding practices and presents solutions to improve accuracy and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) required; Certified Evaluation and Management Coder (CEMC) is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of courses in ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding from an accredited program preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of coding experience in a multi-specialty medical group preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 coding, and payment methodologies
