Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Intake Counselor - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral health screenings and triage calls/chats/texts for mental health and substance use disorders
• Provide crisis intervention and ensure safety through de-escalation techniques and referrals to appropriate services
• Document interactions in a clinical manner and maintain compliance with health department requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate in human services such as psychology or sociology
• 2+ years of post-graduate experience providing direct clinical services
• Must have a cleared status if registered with a licensing entity
• Experience with diverse populations and various psychological disorders
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
