Buyer Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Buyer Analyst who will negotiate pricing and maintain supplier relationships for designated contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with suppliers and maintain supply chain redundancy for best cost and quality
• Ensure quality assurance and contract compliance according to government requirements and standards
• Manage technical data related to contracts and assist with special pricing projects

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years of procurement experience; familiarity with MILSPEC requirements preferred
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain, including military personnel with relevant experience
• Excellent negotiating skills for collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders
• Ability to read and interpret technical data and drawings
• PC proficiency in Microsoft Suite products; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
