Biomedical Technician II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biomedical Technician / Equipment Support Specialist Level II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and conduct testing of medical equipment and systems
• Perform functional testing and safety inspections for medical devices
• Troubleshoot and repair medical equipment failures, including software-related issues

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in medical equipment installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of NFPA 99, VA directives, and industry-standard safety protocols
• Experience with networked medical devices and system integration
• Familiarity with ACL configuration, VLANs, and malware protection tools
