Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual charge entry and optimize charge capture processes
• Promote accurate assignment of system codes for billing and revenue processes
• Provide guidance on coding/billing issues and participate in training for revenue cycle improvements

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience in medical coding/billing
• Proficiency in EPIC, Excel, and Word
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and revenue codes
• Preferred certifications include CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H, RHIA, or RHIT
