Banking Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Banking Operations Specialist (ACH Returns).

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day tasks of the ACH Returns team and corporate level returns requiring urgent resolution
• Perform daily positive pay reconciliation, handle stop payments, and manage client inquiries while maintaining department service level agreements
• Assist in training new Banking Operations Specialists and recommend enhancements for productivity and control

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent banking experience (2-4 years)
• Experience handling ACH exceptions
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure of high monetary/high risk transactions
• CPP/CTP/AAP Certification is a plus
