Backend Engineer II

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the back-end services that power the core business
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to system outages and support escalations
• Collaborate across disciplines to provide technical designs, work estimates, and answers to technical questions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience building and maintaining scalable high-quality software
• Proficiency in Python is required
• Experience building both event-driven and request-driven microservices
• Strong understanding of AWS services
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Kubernetes
