Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer - Validator Engine Specialist (EMEA).

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the validator engine to meet jurisdictional requirements
• Extend the rules engine written in Java to support new use cases
• Implement, debug, and refine JSON-based DSL rules for accuracy and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot Framework
• Demonstrated reliance on unit testing and mocking frameworks
• Residing in or near the CET timezone (including Eastern Europe)
