A company is looking for an Authorization Specialist Associate (work from home Pennsylvania resident).

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain prior authorization for procedures and verify insurance coverage
• Coordinate communication between providers, nurses, and office staff regarding peer reviews and denials
• Conduct research and follow-up on assigned accounts to resolve financial and insurance issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience required
• Ability to work with various departments to address financial clearance and insurance concerns
• Experience in precertification and understanding of billing processes
• Familiarity with regulatory environments in financial services
