Associate Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production to ensure timely and accurate completion of renewals and proposals
• Review renewal and new business proposals to ensure alignment with company objectives
• Develop relationships with key constituents to influence risk management and pricing decisions

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in underwriting
• Exposure to self-funded plans; level-funded exposure is a plus
• General knowledge of self-funded and fully-insured markets
• Ability to balance judgment, analytical skills, and creative thinking
• Experience with the Ugan underwriting system and SalesForce is a plus
