Associate Director of Underwriting

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director of Underwriting to manage underwriting operations remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of underwriters
  • Oversee underwriting of complex accounts and lead case reviews
  • Monitor performance and provide guidance to staff
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of financial analysis, pricing, or underwriting experience, including 3+ years in healthcare
  • 3+ years of experience with a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) or in a consulting role for PBM clients
  • Experience as a people leader with supervisory responsibilities
  • Ability to build complex financial models and conduct economic analysis
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel for spreadsheet building and analysis
