Associate Cyber Threat Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Cyber Threat Analyst (Incident Response) to develop and implement information security monitoring and threat analysis processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive threat analysis of cyber alerts and events, applying appropriate mitigations and remediations
• Respond to reports and alerts from cybersecurity systems and tools, correlating threat data to identify malicious users
• Conduct industry research and assist with the implementation of security controls to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Systems Administration
• Current certification or ability to obtain one within 180 days (e.g., CYSA+, GCIH, CEH, or GCFE)
• Basic understanding of security concepts and controls for networks, applications, and operating systems
• Experience with troubleshooting security issues and knowledge of vulnerability and patch management
• Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Information Systems / Cybersecurity
