Assistant Director of Automation Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Director, Automation Engineering for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant to departmental leadership in the development and management of unit services and administrative functions
• Create and execute test automation scripts, ensuring the integrity of production solutions on the enterprise data platform
• Identify and implement quality engineering process improvements and champion best practices in testing among development teams

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of professional work experience in Automation
• Expertise in SQL, with knowledge of Python preferred
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Snowflake
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with Enterprise Database technologies and test automation frameworks
