Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist RN.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct concurrent reviews of inpatient medical record documentation to identify opportunities for improvement
• Facilitate modifications to clinical documentation through interaction with providers and healthcare team members
• Utilize coding expertise to ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation and provide education to medical staff

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• RN Associate Level Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Active RN Nursing License (Compact or Multi-state)
• Five years of acute care experience in Medical Surgical or ICU
• Preferred three years of recent Clinical Documentation Improvement experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
