Adjunct Marine Conservation Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Instructor in the Marine Conservation Biology Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Sustainable Management of Marine Resources, Impacts of Predators on Marine Ecosystems, and Applied Research in Marine Biology
  • Conduct courses asynchronously with a maximum of 20 students per course
  • Engage with students in an online learning environment throughout the eight-week course terms
Required Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in the discipline or a master's degree with significant professional experience
  • Experience with online teaching and familiarity with Canvas is highly desirable
  • Prior work or field experience in the Marine Sciences is preferred
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
