Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Department Chair in Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise full- and part-time faculty, including hiring, training, and performance appraisal
• Collaborate with the Scheduling Manager for class scheduling and faculty assignments
• Oversee curriculum development and maintenance in Accounting, ensuring relevance and appropriateness

Required Qualifications

• MSA or MBA with CPA required; Ph.D. or terminal degree in Accounting preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in post-secondary education, preferably with online instruction
• Leadership experience and familiarity with online learning environments preferred
• Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and meeting technology
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and manage a flexible schedule
