Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Advisor to guide and support students in their academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students through various remote channels to address academic inquiries and provide guidance
• Document all student interactions and process degree changes and program requests accurately and timely
• Engage in professional development and participate in university committees and initiatives to enhance advising practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and one year of professional office experience, preferably in academic advising
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
• Understanding of student development theory and effective academic advising strategies
• Experience working with diverse student populations and familiarity with academic policies
• Demonstrated experience in influencing and advising students on complex academic matters is preferred
