Job Summary

A company is looking for a Case Manager (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Provides telephonic case management for workers compensation cases involving lost time and extensive medical care
• Acts as a liaison between claimants, providers, and clients to manage appropriate levels of care
• Evaluates and coordinates treatment plans proposed by providers and authorizes medical treatment on assigned claims

Required Qualifications

• Preferably a bachelor's degree
• Minimum of two years of business experience, preferably in a medical support or health insurance environment
• Proficient in personal computers and supporting software in a Windows-based environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Preferred understanding of case management philosophy and process
