You will leverage your expertise to understand agency briefs and client challenges, developing innovative, data-driven, multi-platform solutions that drive impactful results. Working closely with planners, investment teams, and digital experts, you will contribute to the overall success of the business by ensuring a strategic and collaborative approach to media planning.
Your focus will be on driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining influential relationships with both existing and new customers within your agency patch. To strengthen these relationships, you will conduct a minimum of six external business meetings per week, providing detailed summaries and action points to the Agency Lead and Group Agency Director.
You will collaborate with leadership to implement quarterly Business Plans that align with client and agency digital strategies, ensuring that all initiatives are tailored to maximize success. Additionally, you will develop and present a minimum of four proactive ideas each month to planning and digital teams, enhancing the agency’s offerings with creative and strategic solutions.
A deep understanding of the Reach plc portfolio will be essential, allowing you to confidently communicate our sales story and data capabilities to clients. Staying informed about the digital and print advertising markets, you will provide valuable industry insights and guidance on emerging trends that impact our business.
You will also oversee programmatic delivery, ensuring effective PG and PMP integrations to optimize campaign performance. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with other Agency Business Managers and departments such as Programmatic, Trading, Publishing, Finance, Ad Ops, and Editorial to drive both revenue and profitability.
Additionally, you will regularly share data insights from proprietary systems with client portfolios to inform strategic decision-making. Maintaining accurate revenue forecasting and reporting will be a priority, ensuring that all prospects are up to date for weekly digital sales meetings.
As a mentor, you will support the development of Agency Executives, taking responsibility for your own growth through training sessions and a Personal Development Plan. Finally, you will uphold Reach’s diversity and inclusion policies, ensuring that our non-discrimination values are reflected in all activities.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
To excel in this role, you will need proven expertise in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and maximise opportunities. Your ability to build and maintain influential relationships with agency personnel and clients will be crucial in ensuring long-term success.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders. A deep understanding of the digital and print advertising markets, as well as the broader UK media landscape, will provide you with the insight needed to navigate industry trends and challenges effectively.
You will bring a strong working knowledge of the Reach plc portfolio, understanding how our products fit into the wider media and digital marketplaces. Experience in managing programmatic delivery, including PG and PMP integrations, will be essential in optimizing advertising performance.
Collaboration is key, and your ability to work across multiple departments to foster a cohesive and goal-driven environment will be instrumental in achieving success. Additionally, you should have strong data analysis skills, enabling you to interpret insights from proprietary systems and use them to inform strategic business decisions.
Highly organized and efficient, you will be able to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high standard of performance. Your experience in mentoring or coaching colleagues will contribute to a supportive and high-performing team environment.
As an advocate of Reach Solutions' principles and behaviors, you will embody Collaboration, Imagination, Determination, Excellence, and Professionalism in all aspects of your work.
