Clinic Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic MRI Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cutting-edge whole-body MRI and precision health clinic. The Clinic Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient flow, optimizing staff performance, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, delivering an exceptional patient experience, and managing patient/clinical relationships. This role involves managing MRI technologists, phlebotomists, and administrative personnel, coordinating with healthcare providers, and overseeing operational efficiency to support the clinic’s mission of proactive, data-driven healthcare. Managers should also be excited to identify areas for innovation and implement new technologies within a fast-paced environment.




Key Responsibilities
  • Operations & Workflow Management:
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, smooth workflows, high-quality imaging, and laboratory services.
  • Implement standardized protocols for patient intake, MRI procedures, laboratory services, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Monitor and optimize patient throughput, ensuring minimal wait times and a smooth experience from check-in to follow-up.
  • Manage MRI scanner utilization, coordinating preventive maintenance and addressing equipment issues as needed.

  • Staff Supervision & Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise MRI technologists, phlebotomists, and front-desk staff, ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, staff scheduling, and ongoing training to maintain compliance with safety and clinical protocols.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and patient-centered care.

  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, FDB, FDA, and other regulatory requirements related to MRI safety and laboratory procedures.
  • Maintain quality control protocols for imaging and lab services, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high diagnostic standards.
  • Develop and implement patient safety and emergency response protocols, ensuring all staff are trained on best practices.

  • Patient Experience & Customer Service:
  • Ensure an exceptional patient experience, from first contact to results delivery, with a focus on comfort, education, and transparency. 
  • Serve as a liaison for referring clinicians (and their practice representatives) to help address any questions about Q Bio, the Gemini exam, and patient-specific queries
  • Implement patient/clinician feedback mechanisms and address any concerns in a professional, timely manner.
  • Work with marketing and patient outreach teams to promote the clinic’s services and enhance patient engagement.

  • Financial & Business Operations:
  • Manage clinic budgets, operational costs, and financial performance, optimizing profitability while maintaining service quality.
  • Help oversee billing and revenue cycle management
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as scan volume, patient retention, and referral growth.

  • Technology & Innovation:
  • Work closely with medical leadership and stay up to date on advancements in MRI technology, whole body imaging, quantitative imaging, and longevity science.
  • Work with medical and IT teams to integrate data analytics, innovative data-sharing platforms, and new AI-driven enhancements, into clinic workflows.


Qualifications & Experience
  •  Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Sciences, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience managing an outpatient imaging center, radiology clinic, or similar healthcare facility.
  • Experience managing MRI technologists, phlebotomists, and front-office staff in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging workflows and patient safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with laboratory operations, including phlebotomy workflows, specimen handling, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with healthcare IT systems, scheduling software, and revenue cycle management.
