About the Role

As a Senior Affiliate Merchant Partnerships Manager, you will take ownership of merchant acquisition and affiliate relationships, ensuring that our loyalty programmes deliver exceptional value to clients and their customers. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and hands-on execution, working closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams to enhance the Propello rewards ecosystem.

You will also manage and mentor an Associate in the team, ensuring they develop their skills and contribute effectively to Propello’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage relationships with key affiliate and merchant partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and performance growth.
  • Lead negotiations to secure the best possible offers, commission rates, and marketing placements for Propello’s loyalty programmes.
  • Manage budgets allocated to merchant and affiliate campaigns, optimising spend for maximum ROI and client satisfaction.
  • Support Customer Success in delivering successful loyalty programmes, ensuring affiliate partnerships align with client goals.
  • Oversee and optimise promotional campaigns, including newsletters, platform banners, and exclusive merchant offers.
  • Monitor and analyse performance data, providing insights to improve engagement and revenue outcomes.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, and product teams to enhance the Propello platform’s offer portfolio.
  • Coach and develop a junior team member, providing guidance and performance oversight.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, demonstrating expertise in loyalty, affiliate marketing, and consumer engagement.

The Ideal Candidate…

✅ 5+ years’ experience in affiliate marketing, merchant partnerships, or loyalty tech, ideally from a network, agency, or publisher.
✅ Commercially savvy – confident managing budgets, analysing data, and identifying revenue opportunities.
✅ A skilled negotiator – experienced in securing high-value partnerships and marketing placements.
✅ Experienced in team leadership – able to manage and develop junior employees to enhance performance.
✅ A strong communicator – confident in presenting to clients, merchants, and internal teams.
✅ Detail-oriented & organised – able to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
✅ A problem-solver – proactive in identifying and addressing challenges to drive success.
✅ Familiar with sales and CRM tools – experience using HubSpot, Apollo, Vidyard, or similar platforms is a plus.
