Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pro Fee Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes for various patient types
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and coding reflect documented diagnoses/procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in meetings and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications and Education

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential
• Two years of recent coding experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines
• Ability to code at a 95% quality threshold
• Proficient in MS Office applications
