Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist (W2 Only).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of predictive models using machine learning and AI techniques for healthcare applications
• Drive data science initiatives across therapy areas, leveraging real-world data for improved patient outcomes
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data scientists, promoting innovation and best practices in MLOps

Required Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Biomedical Informatics)
• 8+ years of experience in data science, particularly in predictive modeling within healthcare or life sciences
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms and deep learning architectures, especially transformer models
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data science libraries
• Experience with large-scale healthcare datasets like claims data or electronic health records
