In this role you will work with the Scenario Simulation team in enhancing the fidelity of PLUS’ in-house simulator, with a focus on reducing the gap between simulated and real-world behavior. This includes improving the robustness of log-replay simulations, enhancing log conversion methods, and implementing features such as warm-start for varied initial conditions. You will also contribute to synthetic scenario development, including features like intelligent traffic light control, construction zone creation, and realistic agent spawning for local and highway environments. The work will help improve simulation frameworks used to validate and deploy autonomous truck systems.
