Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Design visually stunning marketing materials, including posters, title treatments, typeface/font identification, and platform artwork, print ads, digital displays, and social media assets
  • Develop concepts and design elements for entertainment marketing campaigns, aligning with client objectives and brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with the creative team, including copywriters, art directors, and producers, to ensure cohesive campaign execution
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design software, and technologies to continuously improve design skills and efficiency
  • Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality designs under pressure
  • Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement

Skills:

  • Creative Skills

1. Visual creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative design concepts.

2. Aesthetic sense: Understanding of color theory, typography, and composition to create visually appealing designs.

 

  • Technical Skills

1. Proficiency in design software: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.

2. Understanding of design principles: Knowledge of layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy.

3. Familiarity with digital formats: Understanding of file formats (JPEG, PNG, PDF, etc.) and resolution requirements.

  • Soft Skills

1. Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to clients and team members.

2. Collaboration and teamwork: Willingness to work with others, take feedback, and iterate on designs.

3. Time management and organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

4. Adaptability and flexibility: Willingness to adjust to changing project requirements, deadlines, and design trends.

5. Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality designs.

 

  • Business Acumen

1. Understanding of branding and marketing: Knowledge of how design contributes to brand identity and marketing strategies.

2. Awareness of industry trends: Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices.

3. Client relationship management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.

 

  • Continuous Learning

1. Commitment to ongoing learning: Desire to continually develop skills, knowledge, and expertise in graphic design.

2. Staying current with industry developments: Participation in design communities, attending workshops, and engaging in online forums to stay informed.

  • Requirements
    • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the entertainment or marketing industry
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
    • Good grasp of the Korean language, both speaking and writing
    • Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
    • Portfolio showcasing your best design work, including entertainment or marketing-related projects
  • Nice to Have
    • Experience with motion graphics, UI/UX design, or video editing
    • Knowledge of the entertainment industry, including movies, TV shows, and digital content
