PK1Cloud is an innovative platform offered by Perr&Knight to revolutionize how insurance companies manage, analyze, and leverage data. It will feature:


• A natural language user interface for seamless interaction,

• A common data model to centralize and unify information, and

• Seamless integration with external systems to enhance connectivity and functionality.


By automating critical insurance activities, PK1Cloud will not only elevate our ability to deliver essential services but also improve the efficiency of our clients’ operations. It brings together our SaaS products —such as StateFilings.com, LicenseReporter.com, and the Statistical Reporting Manager — alongside many planned future innovations.


What You'll Be Doing:
  • Making proactive contact with existing and prospective clients through leads generated by the company client database, website, social media presence, industry connections and trade events. Attend trade events to increase visibility and awareness by exhibiting, networking and promoting PK1Cloud offerings.
  • Handling incoming telephone calls, voicemail or email from clients and prospects that are sales related. Using proactive email communication to complement telephone, video call and/or in-person communication with clients and prospects. 
  • Using a consultative selling approach with decision makers. Recognizing client needs and recommending products and consulting services that meet those needs. Conducting product demonstrations tailored to client needs. Identifying opportunities to cross sell other company solutions and services offerings. Working closely with the Product Team to relay client feedback as well as improvements and/or enhancements suggested for the product.
  • Upon identification of a proposal opportunity, developing pricing for products in scope. When opportunities arise through cross selling, engaging with the appropriate internal consulting resource to develop a proposal. 
  • Building a strong sales pipeline. Utilizing a client relationship management system (CRM) to plan, prioritize, track and measure selling activities. Creating and inputting a weekly status report of sales activities including client interactions and pipeline progress. 
  • Developing and executing strategies to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets. Negotiating pricing and contract terms to close deals effectively. Seeing the entire process through to closing of the sale, delivery of the product, and feedback from the client. 


What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Working knowledge of property and casualty (P&C) insurance product development and regulatory requirements and associated entities/platforms – particularly National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) System for Electronic Rate and Form Filings (SERFF) and the P&C statistical bureaus (e.g. ISONET, NCCI) content/subscriptions. 
  • Proven ability to conduct effective product demonstrations remotely or in person in a manner that relates to the target audience, while clearly illustrating the value proposition of the product and differentiating it from competitor products.
  • 3 Years consultative sales experience in P&C insurance technology and/or in P&C compliance software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools to plan, prioritize, track and measure selling activities.
  • Availability/willingness for moderate travel (1 to 2 times per month)
  • College degree
