About the role: 

We require a dynamic and highly-organized storyteller that specializes in personal brand management and social media strategy. At the cross-roads of this role will be working with Dr. Colleen Cutcliffe PHD, our co-founder and CEO, to bring her persona to life online – as well as working with other, top-tier talent to amplify and augment that output.

The ideal candidate is savvy with Instagram and other social platforms, has experience working with talent, and is driven to make a meaningful impact.

• Social Media Management:
• Manage the Pendulum brand and Dr Colleen’s personal social media accounts, with a primary focus on Instagram.
• Develop and execute creative, on-brand content strategies to highlight science, healthcare professionals, celebrity partnerships, and the Pendulum product.
• Regularly post engaging content, including photos, videos, and stories, to grow the social media following and engagement.
• Content Creation:
• Design and produce visually appealing and educational posts that resonate with health and wellness audiences.
• Translate complex scientific concepts into accessible, shareable content.
• Relationship Management:
• Coordinate and manage relationships with high-profile individuals, building on the work we have done with Halle Berry, for example.
• Act as a liaison with key influencers, healthcare professionals, and event organizers.
• Collaboration with Revenue Teams:
• Partner with the Consumer Revenue and Healthcare Practitioner Revenue teams to align social media strategies with business goals.
• Support initiatives to drive new customer acquisition and improve retention through targeted and impactful content.
• Travel and Event Support:
• Accompany the CEO to speaking engagements, professional conferences, and publicity events.
• Document and share live updates from events to amplify the CEO’s impact.
• Analytics and Growth:
• Monitor social media analytics to measure performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Stay updated on social media trends and recommend innovative strategies to enhance visibility and engagement.

• Proficient in Instagram and other major social media platforms, with an eye for aesthetics and creative storytelling.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to manage and nurture relationships with high-profile individuals.
• Hard worker who is eager to learn, grow, and make a significant impact.
• Flexible and willing to travel for events and engagements.
• A passion for science, health, and wellness
• Undergraduate degree majoring in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related fields are preferred. A background in health sciences or a strong interest in health and wellness is a plus..

• Though this role is based in our SF HQ, regular travel will likely be required for events, meetings, and filming. 
• In San Francisco office at least three days per week.
