Paytm Insurance Broking Pvt Ltd , a wholly owned subsidiary of One97 Communications Ltd (OCL), is an IRDAI registered Insurance Broker.

About the role:

As a Assistant Product Designer at Paytm, you will report to the (Sr) Product Design Manager and collaborate with a diverse team of designers, product managers, and engineers. Your goal will be to create intuitive, user-friendly, and delightful design solutions that drive our product vision forward.

Responsibilities:

•Design Execution: Own and drive design projects from ideation to delivery, ensuring that design solutions are functional and aesthetically pleasing.

•User-Centric Approach: Conduct user research and usability testing, incorporating insights to improve design outcomes.

•Prototyping & Wireframing: Develop prototypes and wireframes to clearly communicate design ideas and gather stakeholders' feedback.

•Design System Contribution: Collaborate on the evolution of Paytm's design system, ensuring consistency across platforms.

•Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life, balancing user needs with business goals.

•Feedback Integration: Engage in design reviews, accept feedback, and continuously refine designs to enhance the user experience.

•Mentorship & Learning: Share your knowledge with peers and stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies to inspire your work and the team.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role  

•Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in product design with a strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and successful projects.

•Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.Design 

•Expertise: Deep knowledge of user-centred design principles and proficiency with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Vercel or similar AI-powered design and prototyping tools.

•Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to transform complex problems into simple, elegant design solutions.

•Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to articulate design decisions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

•Adaptability: Experience in working in a fast-paced environment, embracing feedback, and iterating on designs.
