Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll and related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll bi-weekly and manage PTO, Floating Holiday, and Military Leave accruals
• Execute labor batch processing and ensure accurate internal audits for payroll integrity
• Generate reports for payroll funding and monitor employee lifecycle activities for accurate payroll setup

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or Technical Certification in Business Administration, or 1-3 years of payroll or HR experience
• Experience with SCA (Service Contract Act) prevailing wage requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and payroll withholdings
• Preferred: FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification)
