Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Processor-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts accurately and timely
• Balance payments daily and complete research on undistributed cash
• Process denials and support other areas of the revenue cycle as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of medical office or billing/collections experience
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9/10 codes
• Familiarity with insurance EOBs and various payer billing requirements
• In-depth knowledge of insurance billing guidelines including Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid
