Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients with billing-related inquiries, providing empathetic and professional customer service
  • Analyze patient accounts to identify and correct errors, and assist callers in understanding next steps for account resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to advocate for patients and manage expectations effectively
Required Qualifications
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in patient-facing revenue cycle or customer service roles, preferably in healthcare
  • 1+ year of experience in a remote or hybrid work environment
  • Experience with EMR/EHR or practice management systems, preferably AdvancedMD and NextGen
  • Basic knowledge of the claim lifecycle, including ICD-10 and CPT codes
