The Accounting & Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing vendor invoices, fuel card usage, and month-end accruals while overseeing procurement and inventory control. This role ensures the timely processing of purchase orders, tracks inventory, reconciles discrepancies, and supports dealership operations through reporting and customer assistance.
Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
- Process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Manage dealership fuel card usage and spending.
- Reconcile and report month-end accruals.
Purchasing & Procurement
- Track and manage procurement of equipment, supplies, and goods.
- Process purchase orders and monitor order status.
- Administer and manage return goods processes.
Inventory Control
- Manage parts inventory for remote warehouses (vehicles).
- Maintain accurate inventory data and conduct cycle counts.
- Assist in scheduling and reconciling physical inventory counts, including year-end audits.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Additional Support
- Assist with customer inquiries as needed.
- Compile and generate reports to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting, procurement, or inventory control preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems like IFS.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
