Owner is a remote-first, global company headquartered in San Francisco, with a sales hub in Toronto. For a few of our roles we prioritize in-person collaboration at one of our office locations. 🔍 Why we’re looking for you

We are building an extremely data-first operations and GTM function at Owner. Because our business is high-volume B2B and much of our revenue is tied to our customers’ transaction volume, we have the opportunity to build particularly accurate and insightful analyses and scalable, data-driven systems to power our GTM team. As Senior Data Scientist, GTM you will not only help build the above systems, you will also help advance our culture around data discipline and efficiency. This role reports to our VP of Business Operations.

This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the US or Canada.

• Enjoy tinkering and testing applications for LLMs
• Want to build solutions for lasting processes and systems. Love a good data-driven decision-making process (but also understand when this is possible and when it isn’t)
• Have a proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

• Direct impact on significant improvements to GTM efficiency and CAC: LTV ratio through data-driven insights and initiatives on the GTM funnel and systems
• Grow and continue building our best in class go-to-market system pipeline that fuels our sales motions through AI, automations, and deep data enrichment
• Ideate, explore, and test new growth channels to diversify and scale out sales operations
• Contribute to and/or lead ad hoc projects as business needs arise

• This role reports to our VP of Business Operations, Jonathan Shenkman.
• You will partner closely with VPs and Directors of our Growth, Sales, and Marketing teams, in addition to other Operations team members

• 5+ years of relevant operational experience
• Excellent SQL and Python skills, with additional technical background or education strongly preferred
• Strong data science and analytics background - experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning is a plus
• Extremely organized, with an eye for precision and a love for keeping things tidy
• Experience with SaaS and/or startups preferred
• Prior experience in the restaurant industry is a plus!

• The estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000-180,000, plus a generous equity pre-IPO equity package
