Who you are
As a Senior Accountant at OnMed, your role involves a crucial blend of accounting, payroll, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) functions. You will be instrumental in providing strategic financial insights and supporting informed decision-making processes. Leveraging your expertise across accounting, payroll, budgeting, and financial analysis, you will contribute to the development and execution of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth financial analyses, preparing accurate reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance. With your strong analytical skills, you will help drive the Company’s financial strategies and initiatives forward while ensuring the cohesive alignment of accounting, payroll, and FP&A efforts. Role Responsibilities
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Generate timely and accurate financial reports for management review, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance and mitigate risks.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual operating budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances against actual results, and identify key trends and drivers.
- Assist in conducting sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling to assess the potential impact of business decisions on financial outcomes.
Financial Planning & Strategy:
- Support the development and execution of strategic financial plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, conduct ROI analysis, and provide strategic insights to support business growth initiatives.
- Recommend process improvements and prevalent practices in financial planning and analysis to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Payroll Processing:
- Manage payroll processing activities, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees and consultants/independent contractors in compliance with regulatory requirements and Company policies.
- Maintain payroll records, reconcile payroll accounts, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and provide support as needed.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting principles, and internal policies and procedures.
- Assess financial risks and internal controls, proposing enhancements to mitigate risks and strengthen internal controls.
- Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing documentation, addressing auditor inquiries, and implementing audit recommendations.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, HR, Legal, and the senior leadership team, to support business initiatives and resolve financial-related issues.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Financial Officer at their discretion from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Experience with payroll processing software (preferably ADP Workforce Now) and familiarity with payroll tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications (e.g., ERP systems, budgeting software).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and thrive in a changing environment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, and payroll processing.
- Experience working with ADP Total Source or other similar PEOs is strong plus.

The base salary range for this role Is $85,000 - $90,000, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.
