Specialist - Retail Technology

We’re looking for a tech-savvy, retail-focused problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll oversee the installation of cutting-edge retail technology for new store openings, provide hands-on support to our store teams, and lead small to medium-sized improvement projects that enhance our retail tech ecosystem.

Your Mission: 

• New Store Openings: 
  Own the end-to-end tech setup, including POS systems, RFID, traffic counters, and cash desks, ensuring every store launches with a seamless technology experience. In addition, you will empower our retail teams to confidently use all digital in-store solutions by delivering comprehensive training, enabling them to provide an outstanding customer experience. Through hands-on guidance and clear documentation, you’ll ensure store teams feel fully equipped to leverage technology effectively from day one.
• Operational Tech Support: 
  Act as the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges, empowering store teams to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Retail Tech Improvement Projects: 
  Lead and execute impactful projects that enhance our retail technology stack, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive innovation.
• Collaboration & Innovation: 
  Work closely with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of retail technology, identifying new opportunities to improve both customer and company-facing tech solutions.
• Frequent travel across North America and occasionally to countries outside of the United States will be required for this role.

Your Story: 

• 3+ years experience in IT software & hardware support
• Engineering or Computer Science degree a strong asset
• Experience in retail technology, IT support, or tech installations within a retail environment
• Strong project management skills with the ability to execute initiatives from concept to completion
• Hands-on problem solver with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams across the organization
• Passion for retail innovation and a strong understanding of emerging retail technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical-, diagnostic-, and problem-solving skills

Your Team: 

As you might expect from a sportswear brand with an emphasis on performance, the Retail Team at On is a fast-paced place to be. As part of the global retail team, you will collaborate closely with our Retail Tech Project managers and like-minded Retail Tech Specialists around the world. On-site you will have a variety of touch points with cross-functional teams such as construction, IT, and trade marketing to coordinate and execute our tech installations during new store openings. You will utilize your vast network of system specialists to provide store teams with a timely and impactful solution to their tech and systems challenges.

What we offer:

Typical cash compensation range for this position inclusive of base + bonus: 69,000-86,000. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, skill set, and location. Certain roles may be eligible for equity compensation in addition to cash compensation.At On we understand cash compensation is just one piece of your total rewards package.
