The Studio team at Okta functions like an internal agency within the Marketing org. We are composed of creatives, strategists, producers and marketing managers alike. Our team’s focus is to lead the brand, tell powerful stories and inspire creative excellence. As a partner to the Digital team, we strive for shared KPIs, strategies and processes to activate our brand on our digital experiences and push the brand and business forward.

About this role

The Studio is looking for a passionate (Sr.) Designer, Digital to join our Digital Studio team. You have a knack for creating innovative, product storytelling digital experiences. You love working with brand guidelines, design systems, and collaborate well with cross-functional teams to get projects launched. Reporting into the Art Director, Creative, you will work with UX, content, strategy, and brand to deliver digital design solutions against the creative briefs. You will help to tell the Okta story on our websites, always advocating for the brand and meeting KPIs. 

This role will be instrumental in collaborating with the Art Director, Creative, to craft digitally innovative and smart solutions that meet the brief requirements while pushing the brand. The right person for this role will be passionate for visual design and highly motivated to bring thoughtful ideas to the table. 

What you will do

• Work closely with the Art Director, copywriters, UX designers, and extended teams on conceptual development, design and execution across key digital creative briefs
• Clear understanding of project briefs and ability to craft thoughtful design solutions
• Articulate and present ideas in a clear and concise manner; accept constructive feedback and execute against it efficiently 
• Ensure the consistency of the brand and highest quality of design across all projects
• Natural curiosity and passion to learn about and share insights on design and industry trends
• Think big while operating at the lowest level of detail

What experience you have

• BA or BFA in Art/Design or related field
• Extraordinary design skills
• World-class portfolio of work
• Strong communication presentation skills; proven ability to present to executives/leaders
• Highly organized and able to work collaboratively across multiple projects
• 5+ years experience designing in a digital creative agency or client-side group; B2B / tech experience is a plus
• Expert knowledge of Figma
• Familiar with the creative process, partnering with UX designers, copywriters, web production, and development teams
• Experience with motion design, like lottie or other software is a plus
• Experience working in AEM is a plus
• Working knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and CSS is a plus
