Novo Holdings is seeking a Graduate Intern to support the Growth Investments team in its investment activities over the course of the summer/fall semester in its San Francisco office.

The Job
The role of Graduate Intern provides exposure broadly to the healthcare and life science sectors while allowing the candidate to work alongside and learn from an international team of seasoned life science investors.
The primary role of the Graduate Intern will be to support the US investment team through landscaping thematic investment areas, investment due diligence, and deal flow administration. Additional activities include screening of new companies, participating in global team meetings, as well as various ad hoc tasks. The role will provide exposure to a broad range of verticals including drug development, diagnostics, and healthcare services.
The Graduate Intern will be expected to be in the San Francisco office 8-12 hours per week, with flexibility provided for study, exam, and research commitments. This role will pay $26 USD per hour.

Professional Qualifications
· Currently enrolled in a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD program; post-doctoral positions also acceptable
· Strong drive to learn about businesses and how businesses drive the industries of healthcare and life sciences
· Strong scientific literacy to synthesize primary research literature and unpublished company data
· Basic understanding of drug development and the desire to learn more
· Demonstrated interest in commercial applications of scientific research, biotech, entrepreneurship or venture capital
· Top-tier academic performance
