Vehicle Application Specialist

This position is responsible for engineering project coordination in support of production contract and sales opportunities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

·        Serve as the primary technical correspondent and engineering representative for production contract and sales opportunities

·        Support bids process from initial proposals through to production

·        Identify, define and manage configuration requests,

·        Identify technical risks and opportunities

·        Release initial bill of material needed to build heavy duty transport for wide range of customer specifications

·        Mange and present project documentation

·        Assign tasks to engineering designers

·        Contribute and support

·        Mentor and train new employees

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

·         Post secondary degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of skills and experience

·         Knowledge of engineering design, the manufacturing industry, bill of materials and project management

·         Effective computer, communication and organizational skills

·         Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively

·         Ability to understand and communicate engineering concepts

·         Strong attention to details
