Regional Business Development Manager (Healthcare)

Myo is a modern physical therapy brand designed to futureproof your body. With over 20 clinic locations across Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, and New York City, we deliver more than 250,000 personalized, one-on-one sessions every year through our proprietary FutureProof Method—a proven approach to helping people move better, feel better, and do what they love, longer.

💡 We’re on a mission to raise body IQ globally. Our multidisciplinary team—spanning physical therapists, chiropractors, and registered massage therapists—is redefining what physical therapy can look and feel like. We merge clinical excellence with a brand-forward, client-centered experience that puts education, empowerment, and proactive care at the core.

The Role

We’re hiring for our first Regional Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our referral network across the Greater Toronto Area—home to our largest and fastest-growing cluster of clinics.

This role is dedicated to identifying, building, and deepening relationships with medical providers—including physicians, surgeons, and other health professionals—to drive consistent referral volume and unlock new client acquisition across our GTA clinics.

You’ll represent Myo in the medical community, design and execute a high-touch area/territory growth plan, and act as a strategic partner to our clinic and marketing teams—all while helping redefine what physical therapy can look and feel like.

This role reports directly to the CEO and will work closely with clinic operations, marketing, and data/analytics leaders.

This is a field-based role with regular local travel across the GTA and some hybrid flexibility.

What You'll Do: 🔗 Referral Growth & Relationship Management
  • Build and manage a territory plan focused on expanding referral networks
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with physicians and allied health professionals
  • Schedule and execute in-person visits, lunch-and-learns, and education sessions
  • Confidently speak to Myo’s differentiators through clinical storytelling, patient case studies, and outcome data
  • Reactivate dormant referrers and retain existing partners through consistent value-add touchpoints
  • Maintain a centralized CRM system (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce) to track activities and report on referral trends and pipeline health

🤝 Clinic & Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Clinic Directors, Lead Clinicians, and Operations Leads to ensure a seamless experience for referred clients
  • Close the loop with providers through proactive updates and patient feedback
  • Monitor the referral funnel for quality and conversion
  • Surface friction points or capacity constraints to internal teams
  • Coordinate with marketing on co-branded activations or referral-based campaigns

🚀 Strategic Growth Initiatives
  • Support new clinic launches through pre-opening outreach and rapid referral ramp-up
  • Analyze referral data to inform strategy and uncover new opportunities
  • Explore and nurture strategic partnerships (e.g. concierge clinics, sports orgs, rehab networks)
  • Advocate for tools, resources, and messaging to better support our provider community

What Success Looks Like:
  • Grow and retain a strong network of referring providers
  • Drive measurable referral volume to Myo clinics across the GTA
  • Ensure a seamless, high-touch experience for both providers and clients
  • Confidence with performance-based targets and growth KPIs
  • Maintain clear CRM tracking and contribute to territory strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to unlock new growth opportunities

What You Bring:
  • 3–5+ years experience in business development, physician liaison, or healthcare partnerships
  • Familiarity with the GTA healthcare ecosystem (existing MD relationships are a major asset)
  • A polished communicator who can clearly articulate clinical outcomes and value
  • Strong presentation and networking skills; comfortable leading lunch-and-learns or speaking at medical events
  • Ability to understand and clearly communicate clinical language and patient outcomes
  • Comfort working across both clinical and operational stakeholders
  • Highly self-directed with strong organizational and CRM discipline
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Perks & Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus structure
  • Comprehensive health & dental benefits from Day 1
  • Group RRSP with Profit-Sharing Employer Match
  • Laptop, mileage reimbursement, and travel budget for field work
  • Growth opportunities into national BD, corporate partnerships, or strategy roles
  • Wellness: Monthly 60 minute complimentary treatment sessions and complimentary Equinox gym access
  • 100% employer-paid mental health resources through Homewood Pathfinder
  • Discounted Pet Insurance through SPOT
  • Access to unique partnerships in the Greater Toronto Area (e.g. Othership, Jaybird, ON, Orangetheory Fitness, and more!)

$100,000 - $115,000 a year
🔹 Base salary in the range of $80,000 – $90,000 CAD, depending on experience.
🔹 Performance-based bonus tied to referral growth and area impact.
