JOB OUTLINE:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Supply Chain Manager oversees all aspects of the supply chain cycle (excluding purchasing) for raw materials to end delivery of goods produced. The manager will lead the team through key performance measures, budget management and effective day-to-day resource planning.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Responsible for the people management of distribution, warehouse, and supply chain team within UKG. Lead the team in KSI development and results, communication, performance management, and training development.
- Work with the department leads to facilitate various responsibilities, workflows and resolving challenges in a collective team setting.
- Lead the supply chain budget with a focus on labour, fleet and fuel expenses and maintenance, and review monthly with the General Manager. Review the annual budget for Supply chain and review monthly to track alignment and communicate any unexpected spending with the finance team. Approval process of all applicable Purchase orders.
- Seek out opportunities for improved resource management, cost saving partnerships, effectiveness of systems and people, along with high level of quality services,
- Manage all LCBO, TBS, and Export incoming PO’s.
- Work with the General Manager and the Quality team to approve early release of applicable lots as needed to meet supply.
- Manage TNG inventories Facilitate all 3rd party distribution plans.
- Oversee with the Distribution Coordinator to:
- Manage all deliveries and ensure effect route management, account details, and maintenance of fleet vehicles.
- Oversee and review Geotab results. -Ensure and completed required documentation for annual and strong CVOR rating
- Work with the finance team to manage annual maintenance and distribution of Sales fleet vehicles, event trailers, and trucks (or replacements) at the Brewery.
- Oversee the Supply Chain Specialist to:
- Ensure lots, inventories and skus are maintained for effective fulfillment.
- Train the Supply Chain Specialist on ERP processes and analytical reports to develop a dual-super user for the Brewery.
- Ensure effective correspondence with finance on inventory management and counts within Business Central and all internal and external warehouses are accurate including Month End and Year End
- Ensure quality and product returns process is completed.
- Utilize the team to lead all co-packing partnerships and distribution timelines.
- Actively attend all essential meetings requiring Supply Chain input or information sharing. Communicate key information to the supply chain Team.
- Be aware of external influences such as legislation, government grants and environmental sustainability pressures and opportunities.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Lead to ensure accurate loads, services to the production teams, safety and maintenance coordination of the forklift and storage equipment.
- Understand needs of business and build future business cases for all Capital Projects.
- Approve all Supply Chain and Distribution Invoices for Finance and identify any concerns.
- Oversee the team's adherence to safety, HACCP and CFIA requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, inventory management and/or distribution in a CPG manufacturing environment
- Experience working in/working knowledge of an ERP systems (Dynamics Business Central is preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to authentically lead a team.
- Proficient in supply chain and inventory management best practices
- Knowledgeable of forecasting and budgeting
- Knowledge and compliance with the OH&S program and applied safety due diligence for supervisors
- Ability to solve problems independently and as a collective management team
- Strong analytical skills to effectively utilize equipment and people resources
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skill set in a fast paced environment
- Desire to coach and train a team, proven ability in effective constructive feedback and kudos
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
