The Associate Financial Consultant is a critical, hands-on role that challenges you to leverage your technical background in finance and accounting to build our customers' financial models and dashboards using Mosaic’s powerful software. Your goal is to automate our new customer’s FP&A workflows, leveling them up from tactical to strategic.
If you’re a problem-solver and a finance guru, you will thrive in this role as you will find creative solutions to automate our customers' modeling and KPI reporting processes using Mosaic’s sleek application. You will analyze our customers' models and reporting, quickly understand the assumptions driving the model, and leverage your product expertise to architect and build solutions in Mosaic.
This role is consultative in nature in that you will have the opportunity to present your solutions and methodologies to the customer to enable them to take the pen on their models and dashboards post-onboarding.
The Associate Financial Consultant wears many hats and works cross-functionally internally by working with Customer Success, Support, and Data Operations.
The Opportunity: - Become an early member of a quickly growing team for a SaaS business that tripled ARR in FY22 and hone your finance skills through deep exposure to many different business models at the hottest startups.
- Assist customers with financial model and dashboard creation using the Mosaic Planning and Analytics solution, including multiple budget scenarios, headcount planning, department-level expense forecasting, and other key features.
- Gain exposure to complex models across various industries, business models, and company sizes.
- Spearhead and influence future product development by serving as the voice of the customer and sharing feedback with the Product team.
- Collaborate closely with various teams, including Support and Data Operations. to ensure world-class customer satisfaction.
Requirements:- 2+ years of professional experience working in financial consulting, finance, accounting, investment banking, or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical skills, including financial modeling and in-depth analysis (modeling exercise will be part of the interview process).
- Understand the interrelationship between the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and takes full ownership of responsibilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead conversations.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Quick learner with a strong drive to grow and succeed.

- Basic understanding of data languages, including SQL.

$70,000 - $90,000 a year
The target salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and additional opportunities for incentives and bonuses for performance beyond goals. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at a minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
